About Genie

Genie, an innovative manufacturer of lifts, booms, and telehandlers, was founded in 1966 by Bud Bushnell. What's with the name? Well, Bushnell started the company by buying the rights to manufacture a lift that used compressed air. The compressed air was Bushnell's "magic in a bottle" to his amazed customers, and the name Genie Industries was born. In 2002, Genie was sold to the Terex Corporation, but all of Genie's products would continue to be sold under the Genie brand.

Genie is dedicated to supporting and listening to its customers, regardless of how recently they've purchased a Genie product. It also focuses on improving the quality of its parts and minimizing the waste involved in producing them.
